How does RDS work in the cloud?
Virtual desktops are deployed in the GigaCloud private cloud. The solution is part of the Windows Server Datacenter operating system. If the client leases Windows infrastructure in the cloud, a terminal server is simply deployed using the dedicated resources for remote device access. All user data are calculated and processed on dedicated servers.
Remote desktop connections are provided by RDP clients on end devices and Microsoft RDS or SysElegance Application Server licenses. Nothing changes for the user. On the screen, the user sees the usual desktop, the same OS and programs. The user is not dependent on a specific PC. Just log in to resume work from another location.
The user can connect to the desktop in the cloud from any device via the Internet or a local network in any part of the world. Access your desktop via the standard RDP protocol. The performance of Remote Desktop is not affected by how fast the Internet connection or the users’ PCs are, so there is no need to upgrade them.

Difference between Microsoft RDS
and Syselegance Application Server
Microsoft RDS is a component of Microsoft Windows Server that allows users to remotely access graphical desktops and Windows applications.
SysElegance Application Server is the Ukrainian equivalent of Microsoft RDS for remote connection from any device to a dedicated virtual machine in the cloud infrastructure.
